Metal casting (casting) process is one of the techniques of making Iron Products and Crafts where the metal is melted in a melting furnace and then poured into a mold cavity similar to the original shape of the cast product to be made. As a manufacturing process that uses liquid metal and molds, casting is used to produce the original shape of the finished product.

One of the main components that works in the Digester is BEATER ARM. The Beater Arm or often called PARANG-PARANG is a part that functions as a beater / crusher palm fruit that is included in the Digester. Usually 1 set of Beater arm consists of 1 LONG ARM and 1 SHORT ARM and is tied to the Shaft Digester using a V-Block and 1 unit of the digester usually uses 5-6 sets of Beater Arm, depending on the capacity of the digester.

Because the Beater Arm is always rubbing against the palm fruit, within a certain period of time this Beater Arm will usually wear out and must be replaced
